I love this place. Always happy and I've been here a dozen times. Great quality sushi and a ton of great options. We started with the spicy edamame. Absolutely delicious and garlic heaven. Miso soup is delicious. We did the lamb lollipop appetizer which was great. Nice tasting sauce on a bed of greens. We did 3 sushi rolls: -Dragon Roll (modified) I took out the shrimp because it allergic. I was really impressed with how good this tasted. Topped with eel. Creamy garlic sauce. Delicious. -Philadelphia Roll (simple and good) - Hot Mama - Spicy. You could really taste the jalapeño. If you really like jalapeño go for it. Still nice balance with the rest of the roll. We would recommend it if you like spice. Got 2 beers of Sapporo on tap. Always good with sushi. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Atmosphere is clean and modern. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we do every time!

Came here to celebrate my nephew's 21st birthday with family and his friends and my immediate family and I were impressed. This place is located in the older part of Elk Grove. We appreciated the scenic drive while enjoying the view of the amazing houses along the road. Anyway, upon first pulling up to the parking lot, we noticed that yes, there' a bunch of parking which is always a plus when there's a restaurant involved and it's located in a little mini strip mall. The restaurant isn't the only place sitting on this block. The Chevron gas station is located around the corner, where you could literally walk to it. Inside is just like any restaurant. It wasn't too small or too big. To your left is the bar. It could get pretty crowded so come early. There aren't many chairs at the bar. Here's everything we orders: Appetizers/Sides Miso Soup 3 - huge pieces of tofu, flavorful broth, good amount of seaweed Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings 9 - extra flavorful, great mix of sweet and spicy, not too spicy that my 11 year old could eat it and still lick his fingers to get all the sauce Garlic Green Bean Tempura 9 - I was quite surprised at how light tasting this was. It was definitely flavorful for something that's fried. It was really good. I would definitely order this again. Gyoza 8 - these were pretty filling and delicious. If you're not that hungry, this is a good appetizer to start if you just want to munch on something. Crispy Calamari 15 - loved these. I do love my dipping sauces so these went great with the sauce. Sushi Bond - tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, TNT sauce, masago & scallions (shrimp tempura, crab mix, spicy tuna) 16 Elk Grove - unagi, avocado, unagi sauce, spicy cream, masago, scallions & sesame seed (shrimp tempura, spicy tuna) 16 Grantline - yellowtail, avocado, masago, scallions, unagi sauce & spicy cream (spicy tuna, crab mix, shrimp tempura) 16 Everything was delicious and very fresh tasting (not fishy, which would be bad, bad, bad). Plus, I really liked the cream sauce that came with the rolls. The rolls were huge and picture worthy. I almost didn't want to eat the sushi. I'm glad my kids and I order different sushi platters because I tasted all of their rolls just so I could see which one I liked better. My favorite was the Elk Grove even though it had shrimp tempura in it. I'm not a fan of the end of the roll with the tail. I know, I'm weird. lol. Our servers were amazing and always asked if we needed anything. They were quick to fill our waters and replace our cocktails, should we have ordered another round. Our bartender (Jerome, yes I remember your name, lol) was super friendly and welcoming and mixed our drinks perfectly. I ordered a spicy margarita. It was so good, I ordered another one soon after. Since we were a large party, we were seated outside in the front patio. It was still pretty roomy for us to sit or stand and for our servers to walk around. I would definitely come here again and order their other rolls because they were delicious. Maybe I'll go hang out at the bar. :)

Absolutely recommend this place! It seems like it's kind of out-of-the-way, but it is a hidden gem. We just had my wife's retirement party on Sunday afternoon and it was a hit. If you give this place a try, I guarantee you will not regret it. I have a lot more photos, but we didn't frame the food and didn't wait to take a pictures before everyone started digging in! The service is fantastic which has been absent at many other places since the pandemic! Just do it!

Visited my friend in Elk Grove and was thrilled to visit this delicious sushi spot for dinner! For drinks we both opted for the spicy jalapeno margs, which had a nice kick but could've been a bit more alcohol forward. They were a little watered down. We ordered the tuna tartare to start, followed by the Grantline, Special J, and Firemen rolls. Each roll was fantastic! While the Grantline was my favorite, I really appreciated the flavor of the torched scallops in the Special J - so delicious! Our server was very helpful and offered great recommendations. We didn't feel rushed at all despite the restaurant getting pretty busy, and enjoyed our experience to the fullest.
